Coverdesign for the book »Wasserprotokolle« by Marie Aline Klinger, which explores the role of water as a politically charged element at the borders of Europe. It examines how water becomes a medium of control, violence and resistance within the context of the Mediterranean migration routes.

After a brief exchange with the author, which offered insight into her intentions and visual preferences, I explored the Mediterranean Sea as a central motif — reflecting on water as a fluid force shaped by borders, politics and forms of resistance. The design responds to these layered tensions, translating the complexity of the subject into a subtle yet fragmented visual language.
